The resolution a mayor and board or council adopts to become a Member Municipality, with blanks for the governing authority, the municipality, the resolution number, and the adoption date. It may be adapted to local requirements so long as it remains substantially the same.
For a governing authority
A city or town becomes a Member Municipality when its governing authority adopts a resolution supporting the Partnership's policy position. Take the municipal support packet to the board or council and adopt the model resolution. Once the signed resolution is received and verified, the municipality is published.
Adopt the model resolution, become a Member Municipality, and have your resolution included in the statewide public record of support.
How to submit an adopted resolution
- Download the model resolution.
- Adopt it in an open meeting of the governing authority.
- Email the adopted, executed resolution as a PDF to resolutions@msrevenuepartnership.org.
- You receive an acknowledgment that the resolution has been received.
- A Partnership administrator reviews the resolution and uploads the verified document.
- The municipality appears in the member directory with its resolution number, adoption date, and a public link to the resolution.
